Activate a Function Point Modeler licence

Once you have ordered licences you will be able to activate a Function Point Modeler in any computer.

Once you have ordered licences Function Point Modeler in the http://www.functionpointmodeler.com a customer account will be created for you. Use your email address as user id to log in http://www.functionpointmodeler.com/login.jsp.

You will see under the legend Order Information your registration key.

Using your registration key you are able to activate Function Point Modeler  licences  as many as you ordered.

You see under the legend License Information the activated clients.

Uses your company a proxy server you have to set the parameter for the proxy server in the preferences available on the General > Network Connections preferences page.

You can use the Function Point Modeler > License preference page to activate Function Point Modeler license.

• Click the Function Point Modeler > License preference page to activate Function Point Modeler license..
• In the Preferences window, expand Function Point Modeler and click License.
• Enter your Registration Key .
• Click Activate.

Once you have clicked Activate the Function Point Modeler will try to call a We Service in the http://www.functionpointmodeler.com to check the registration key.

If the checking is successful the Function Point Modeler will be activated for the current computer. Once you have activated the Function Point Modeler you can use it unrestricted.
