Create a Function Point Modeler Project using the File menu

You can create Function Point Modeler Project by using the File > New menu on the Workbench menu bar. Start by creating a Function Point Modeler Project as follows:

1. From the menu bar, select File >New > Function Point Modeler Project.

   

2. In the New Project wizard, select Function Point Modeler > Function Point Modeler Project then click Next.

3. In the Project name field, type your name as the name of your new project. Do not use spaces or special characters in the project name (for example, "MyFirstCount").

4. Leave the box checked to use the default location for your new project. Click Netx when you are done.

   

5. Select a IT-Project type

6. Set the fields

7. Click the Finish button

If you sneak a peek at the navigation view, you will see that it now contains the simple project we just created.
